Tuskegee Airmen Memorial

Located near the Lowcountry Regional Airport, the outdoor Tuskegee Airmen Memorial is placed in honor of the 332nd, African American fighting group that completed their final training here in Walterboro. The Tuskegee Airmen were well known for their skill during aerial combat, and the respect they earned among their fellow soldiers when segregation was still an issue among black soldiers at the time. Antique Shopping
